Myth: You need college to be successful!

• You can be successful even without going the traditional college route! You just need to decide what success means to you. There are so many alternative careers out there to choose from!

Myth: If you decide to go to college, you need to go to a 4-year university

• A 4-year program is not right for everyone! Going to a Community College and then transferring to a 4-year is always an option, especially if you're worried about finances!

Myth: I need to go to college to get a good job.

• Not true at all! There are many jobs out there that don't require a college degree (Electrician, Cosmetologist, Welder, Real Estate Agent, etc.)

• Try to brainstorm some careers that sound interesting to you and find out whether you may need a college degree for them!
